Your employer will know if you have put adequate time producing your CV. If he/she sees that you have put enough and thorough effort into your CV, he/she will accept that you will do the identical in your work. This is a big plus for you. All in all it is not uncommon for select people to spend days or possibly weeks polishing and buffing their CVs.
