Start Gardening Using Large Pots or Containers
If you are a frustrated gardener living in an apartment or a house with no garden space why not buy some pots or containers to get started. You can place them on your windowsill, on kitchen surfaces or in your yard and your whole environment will be brighter and so much nicer.
Of course they are also mobile so you can rearrange them, as you like as often as you like. Just bear in mind the likes and dislikes some plants have such as direct sun or shade. Additionally if you want to grow different varieties of plants you can change the soil for the type most suited to them.
If you are going for the interior design look with your pots as an integral part of the design you can have them at various heights from floor to ceiling. As long as the fixings are strong enough you can suspend pots from the ceiling so you still benefit from the plants without sacrificing floor space. This can enable you to have a cascade of colours.
On a practical level you will have to spend some time and effort on maintenance. They will need watering more often but that is a small price to pay for the additional color. Don’t fall into the trap of over-watering your containers, as that will kill them as surely as undewatering.
If you want to keep your plants from growing too tall or spread out then use smaller pots. This will limit the roots and hence the size of the plant without harming it or affecting the colors and foliage.
If you need to move then all your containers can come with you, which isn’t true with your garden. After all the time and effort you’ve invested it’s great to not have to leave them behind.
When you're happy with your pots why not liven up your bedroom with black bedroom furniture. It looks good and buying black bedroom furniture sets ensures an integrated look. It even looks good as boys bedroom furniture.
